The Graduating Case Competition is a multi-disciplinary case competition that simulates corporate
activity for students, thus serving as a unique recruitment tool.
Over the course of 3 days, students in their final year of undergraduate studies participate in a series of
events that begins with a crash course in the art of cracking business cases. This is followed by a formal
opening ceremony, which allows recruiters to acquaint themselves with the participants on a personal
level.
The competition proper is comprised of a 3-hour case crack, followed by a 30-minute presentation in 1
of 4 fields: Finance, Marketing, Information Systems and International Business/Strategy. During this
time, teams of 4 students must effectively utilize academic and interpersonal skills to produce creative
solutions addressing issues in their respective disciplines. Outstanding teams are recognized at the
awards ceremonies, capping a productive weekend.
