04/02/2010: The McGill Consulting Association is very proud to announce that the Accenture internship program: “Accent on the Community” is looking for 5 interns this semester (U2s and U3s from all faculties). This is a rare opportunity where students will provide consulting services part time with a local NGO, under the guidance of Accenture. The selection process will take place soon, and the program is expected to begin in two weeks lasting through the end of March. Past NGOs have involved UNICEF and Engineers Without Borders.
What we’re looking for in candidates:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical problem-solver
- Quick-learner
- Team player
- Flexible
- Strong academic performance (CGPA 3.0 min)
- Proven leadership skills
- French is an asset but not a prerequisite
Prospective interns will be required to dedicate around 8-10 hours per week, which will include time spent the host NGO’s office, and through regular group meetings.
Key Dates to consider:
Deadline to Apply: February 10th 11:59PM
Applicants notified of decision: February 15th
Kick off session: February 19th
Start of Project: February 22th or March 1st:
Duration: 6 weeks
