Welcome to U2 Case Competition 2008! |
The U2 Case competition is a multidisciplinary case competition overseen by the McGill Consulting Association that simulates corporate experiences, thus serving as a unique recruitment tool for part-time and internship positions.
Over the course of 2 days, students entering their third year of studies participate in a number of events, beginning with a crash course in the art of cracking business cases. This is then followed by opening ceremonies, which provides a perfect opportunity for sponsors to interact with students in a social setting, and connect on a personal level.
The competition proper is comprised of a 3 hour case crack, followed by a 25 minute presentation. During this time, teams of 4 students must effectively utilize academic and interpersonal skills to produce creative solutions addressing issues in their respective disciplines. Outstanding teams are recognized at the awards ceremonies, capping a productive weekend.
